Monica Bose and her grandmother Jean were caught up in England,
where Hitler's Nazi forces were bombarding London.  The war had
reached a ferocious pitch.  Monica Bose's mother Suzanne, wrote to them to come down to India.  With some difficulty the girl and her grandmother reached India.  From Bombay, Suzanne brought them to

They met Bhagavan Ramana in 1942.  After a few days, Jeane presented a  note to Bhagavan through the attendant.  She had
written there: "Please give me your guidance for my future."

Bhagavan's spontaneous answer was:  "Go back to your religion!"

This was an amazing answer, because no one knew that Jeane had left her religion, due to immense sufferings and pains of war.  But
Bhagavan meant to her that change of religion or leaving one's religion is not the solution!

In another post, silentgreen said about biogotry, loving one god and hating another.  Bhagavan Ramana's views are always:  "Work for
liberation, only through your own religion!"
