Miracles Do Happen
« on: February 27, 2009, 10:52:21 AM »
Jagadeeswara Sastri fell seriously ill in 1940 and he was admitted to the local hospital in Tiruvannamalai. Devotees who had seen him in
the hospital had lost all their hopes.  He miraculously recovered and he came to the Hall, brought by some body, after some time.  He looked like a mere skeleton and Subbaramayya expressed wonder, how that weak body could still live and move about.

Jagadeeswara Sastri, a Sanskrit scholar, had composed a prayer to Bhagavan Ramana while he was in bed in the hospital.

"If You think me worth saving, do show Grace and save me even now. O Lord! It does not befit You to reckon my sins and merits.
You have the power to create and destroy, without any aid from others. Then why do You now deceive me by saying that the law
of karma is supreme and must work itself out!"

Subbaramyya later translated this into Telugu verse.
