Bhagavan, Manikkavachagar and Tiruvachakam (General)
« on: February 25, 2009, 09:41:51 AM »
There are many occasions, in which Bhagavan Ramana spoke about
Tiruvachakam and Manikkavachagar, generally.  He particularly liked
Siva Puranam, the first song of Tiruvachakam very much.  Once He said:  If ten people could sit together and chant Tiruvachakam in a melodious voice, without any mistakes of pronounciation, how nice would it be?"

When Mother Azhagamma attained Maha Nirvana, Bhagavan adjourned for food and after food everyone started singing the whole of Tiruvachakam, all the 566 verses, in chorus, by turn.  They completed the whole work and it was early morning and arrangements were started for building a samadhi for Mother Azhagamma's body.
