Meditation during Brahma Muhurtham
« on: February 19, 2009, 07:53:49 PM »
Meditation during the Brahma-Muhurtham (4 AM - 6 AM) is very helpful.
During that time a divine energy in the atmosphere seems to hold the mind calm and thoughtless.
It is as if God has specially created that period to contemplate on Him.

Before meditation if one waves incense sticks before God, it generates devotion which envelops the mind during meditation.
Homage to the Universal Being...Om Shanti ... Om Shanti ... Om Shanti ...

Dear silentgreen,

Yes. Brahma Muhurtham is the early morning, where the noises
are near zero and there is ozone in the atmosphere, to purfiy our
lungs.  Bhagavan Ramana recommends this.  He used to get up
at 3 am to do kitchen work.  Many devotees helped Him in that
wee hours because they enjoyed His company.  No questions,
no clarififcations, simple silent work.  They were all benefited from
His Silence in those hours.

Arunachala Siva.
