Miracles Do Happen
« on: February 18, 2009, 04:09:54 PM »
This happened in May 1995.  Susan Viswanathan came to the Asramam for the first time, even though he had translated some
works of Henri Le Saux, the French devotee of Bhagavan Ramana.
After his return Susan Viswanthan started reading Bhagavan's books intently hoping to visit Sri Ramanasramam again.

In October 2000 he suffered a cerebral stroke which left him paralyzed and speechless. Because of instantaneous hospitalization, he survived. As a stroke victim, he had many death experiences, with the burning up of neurons which results in coma or death. He felt as Bhagavan said that death is only a dreaming!  He was saved
by Bhagavan Ramana who appeared to him at the final point, when he felt Arunachala laid its weight on him.  The weight of the Hill is hard to describe, who can describe rigor mortis?  He is now back at home, after spending a number of weeks in the hospital and he says that his will to survive was the Grace that he was given during  that difficult period.    He came to the Asramam again in Jan 2001.  Like most stroke victims he knew that from one day to the next, what life has in store for him.  But 'abhaya' is the greatest gift that Bhagavan Ramana gives!
