Brahma Jnani's Infinite Compassion
« on: February 17, 2009, 12:07:15 PM »
Once in 1939, Mr. Satynarayana Rao, came to Bhagavan
Ramana during his terminal illness. He was ailing from cancer of
the gullet and the doctors had no hopes for him.  He was given a
room in the Asramam premises.  It is about 2 months.

On 18th February, Rao became very bad and was gasping. Rao's
brother Sri Sambasiva Rao came to Bhagavan and requested Him to come and see his brother.   Bhagavan asked whether the doctor was
called.  They replied that the doctor was very busy in the hospital.
Bhagavan Ramana said: What can I do?  However, He went to the patient's room.  He massaged him gently, placed His hand on the Heart and the other hand on his head.  The patient whose tongue was protruding and eyes fixed, showed signs of relief and in about
twenty minutes gently murmured: " O Help of the helpless!  How have I troubled Thee?  What return can I make for this kindness?"
Everyone got relieved.  Bhagavan Ramana was returning. Someone offered water and soap to wash His hands.  But He declined gently,
and wiped His hands on His body!

The patient died a few days later.  But he must have had the Grace of Bhagavan Ramana in full measure.
