Miracles Do Happen
« on: January 19, 2009, 10:41:22 AM »
It is said that the American President Woodrow Wilson's daughter
came to Bombay and asked to be directed to Arunachala.  She
arrived in due course and found many visitors sitting in the Old Hall in Bhagavan's Presence. A spot was found for her on the front, but no one took any special notice of this new visitor.  She was just another Westerner.  She stayed only one night and no one saw her off to the station, for no one knew who she was.  But on her return to America she wrote articles for the newspapers and said that she now undersstood the teachings of the Gospels of Jesus, and now know what he had looked like.

I think in general she is interested in Sanatana Dharma as it seems that she helped in translation of "The Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna" also.

The Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna translated by Swami Nikhilananda is an English translation of the Bengali religious text Sri Sri Ramakrishna Kathamrita. Swami Nikhilananda worked with Margaret Wilson, daughter of President Woodrow Wilson. Margaret helped the Swami to refine his literary style into "flowing American English".
