the saints who were following the bhakti marga.  Sekkizhar now
gives the Siva Yogis, as one group who merges with Siva through
their Siva Yoga. These Yogis with their breath control methods, raise
the energy from Mooladhara, through Sushumna nadi and reach the
Sahasrara, the 1000 petalled lotus.  Their breath opens up the skull,
and they merge in Siva Effulgence.  Tirumoolar who composed 3000
songs of Tirumantiram, is a Siva Yogi.  He lived in Chidambaram and
was watching Siva's Cosmic Dance, from the Chidambram temple,
along with Vyagrapata and Patanjali.  There is a small temple for
Tirumoolar in Chidambaram.  Recently, I wrote about Swami Ramanagiri who belonged to Swedish royal family and who came to India. He attained Samadhi near Madurai.  He was a Siva Yogi and also was a follower of
Atma Vichara and he was guided by Bhagavan Ramana in his self
