Tayumanavar Songs
« on: December 03, 2008, 12:22:04 PM »
In the same composition, Malai Valar Kadhali, the Queen reared by
Himavan, Hymavati, Tayumanavar requests Siva-Sakti to grace them
to abandon worldly desires and constantly live in the company of other
devotees in contemplation of the Truth.

Verse 2 reads as under:

In their vengeful acts, their alluring smiles, in their slender waists,
In their walks, in their fish like eyes, in the milk like words,
In their crescent moon like forehads, in their nice kumkums.
In their silk sarees, in their fragrant perfumes,
In their slow walks, in their swelling breasts, in their gestures,
My mind is lost, let me not waste my time, let me live in Wisdom,
In my humility, in the company of devotees, in the steady love for them,
In the delusion-less True Siva Jnana, in the golden feet of Siva,
let me stay with your grace, Will you not confer such life?
O the daughter of the Mountain King , his pupil-like princess,
O the Queen of Himavan, Uma, Hymavati!
