« on: December 01, 2008, 04:36:45 PM »
The long poem continues....

I am the slave of Kanampulla Nayanar, who always stayed at
the feet of Siva, with a blue throat, Kari Nayanar (48 & 49)
I am the slave of the devotees of Nedumaran, the brave hearted,
the king of Pandyas, who won the battle of Nelveli. (50)
I am the slave of the devotees of Vaayilar Nayanar, who prayed
to Siva of Mylapore, at the seashore, like the corals removing the
    darkness, (51)
I am the slave of Munai Aduvar Nayanar, who got wealth through wars,
                 (52)
I am the slave of Tiruvaruran, the Master of Tiruvarur!

I am the slave of the devotees of Kazhar Chinga Nayanar, the King of
    Pallava dynasty, (53)
I am the slave of Idangazhi Nayanar, with fragrant garlands, (54)
I am the slave of the devotees of  the king of Thanjavur, Cheruthunai
   Nayanar, (55)
I am the slave of Pugazh Thunai Nayanar, who prayed to the
Lord of the golden court, with serpents on his shoulders, and
got a gold coin every day to feed the poor in famine, (56)
I am the slave of Kotpuli Nayanar, the brave with spears, (57)
I am the slave of Tiruvaruran, the Master of Tiruvarur!
