Sonai Tiru Padigam, the Decad on Sonai, (Arunachala), is a composition,
in Sri Ramana Sannidhi Murai, of Muruganar and this is modelled on
Kovil Tiru Padigam of Manikkavachagar, in Tiruvachakam.  The
composition has got 11 verses.

Verse 1 reads as under:

Like giving a high throne to a dirty dog, you have conferred your
    feet to me,
I came to you with anxiety, this lowly dog, O Venkata, you said:
    Fear not!
O the Effulgence of Sonai! the only prevailing blissful large ocean of
Please consume me like camphor and grace me and save me!

Verse 6 reads as under:

He merged with You, with his pearl like words, that Vadavurar*!
O the Effulgene of Sonai! Who wears the poem-garland in his
    eight shoulders!
O Venkata!  Who have merged all the worlds of this universe into You!
I have merged in You and crossed my twofold-karmas, what price
    can I give to You?
