Tayumanavar Songs
« on: November 27, 2008, 12:37:30 PM »
The following songs appear under the title Akara Bhuvanam, Chidambra
Rahasyam, of Tayumanavar:

The ego comes first for everyone, as I, I, and when it spreads,
The Maya shows her manifold sights and follows you everywhere,
Who can describe this ocean of misery?
The body and the soul, and the inner organs, in and out without
And the Space, the air, the fire and the water,
And the earth as mountains and forests,
Mountains and mountains of sights I see, I see not,
There is forgetfulness, there is remembrance, all this Maya Ocean,
Comes upon me as waves and waves and endless waves,
As good and bad, as happiness and misery, and
These sprout more and more deeds, good and bad.
There is only one way to conquer this,
BE STILL and find out that Silence conquers all!
