Sri Ramana Vaibhavam
« on: November 22, 2008, 02:50:22 PM »
Sri Ramana Vaibhavam, is a composition of 10 verses by Muruganar,
in Sri Ramana Sannidhi Murai.  This is one of the few additional
composition of Murugnar, not modelled on Tiruvachakam, but modelled
on Tevaram and other Saiva compositions.

Verse 3 reads as under:

He gazes at me and removed my delusions,
His eyes are like Siva's who has got a third eye on the forehead,
He is like Siva, with a blue throat of poison, that came from the ocean,
He is like Siva, who pressed his toe on the shoulders of Ravana,
Who tried to lift the Himalayas, his wife Uma's house, and then
       graced him.
He is like Siva, the waterfalls which resound on the Hills,
And which descends to my Heart to wash away my sins,
He is Ramana, the waterfalls of the Hills!

Verse 10 reads like this:

Through the nine gates of my body, the soul suffers,
Like a punctured pot wherefrom the water leaks,
He came to save my sould, he taught the right way for me,
He is the Substance beyond Vedas of this world,
He is without happiness and misery, he is my Lord, my Master!
Always conferring good for the devotees who seek,
His golden feet are my refuge, there is no refuge beyond this,
He is Siva of penance, he is the Master, he is my only Master!
