Miracles Do Happen

Desur Akhilandamma, also referred to as, Desuramma, was a young
widow and was from a lower caste.  She used to bring food to Bhagavan
Ramana both in Virupakshi Cave and in Skandasramam.  She used to
bring food in a small pot, adequate enough to feed Bhagavan Ramana,
Pazhaniswami and herself.  She ate at the end, on Bhagavan Ramana's
leaf-plate and Bhagavan Ramana allowed this practice, for her, as a
very special case.

One day, she took food and went to the Cave, as usual.  To her suprise,
about 5 or 6 heads of Saiva Siddhanta Mutts in and around Tiruvannamalai were talking to Him.  At the time of food, Pazhaniswami asked Bhagavan,
whether they could adjourn for food.  Desuramma was worried that the
food might not be sufficient for all of them.  She grew nervous and restless.  Bhagavan Ramana replied:  Let us wait for some more time.

Suddenly, a group of two or three persons came to the Cave.  They were carrying a large vessel full of cooked rice, dhal, and vegetable curries!
Bhagavan Ramana looked at Desuramma and smiled.  The food was
more than adequate for all the people on that day!
