The Song of Holy Word to Sri Ramana
« on: November 11, 2008, 11:19:07 AM »
The  Song of Holy Word to Sri Ramana, is a composition by Muruganar
on the same lines as that of Manikkavachagar in Tiruvachakam.  But
it is not a decad but consists of 37 verses.

Verse 1 reads like this:

In the far away creamation ground, with the group of devils
dancing like night lilies, He is also dancing in the midnight,
with fire on His hand, He is the god of gods our Ramanesan,
   our Lord,
He is confering all the wealth of the holy land of liberation,
to those who listen to Him and have them in their Hearts,
He is in the seat of my dead mind, He, my Lord knows this.

Verse 30 reads like this:

He is the embodiment of all the desirable virtues, He is
the one who is the Sun of Wisdom,
He is the Remaining Thing, He is Siva, the angels of the heavens
call Him as their Lord, Ramanesan,
Even those wastrels who have no praiseworthy character,
They too  praise His glory , the Lord of the alms-takers, He is our Lord!
