Kunchitanghristavam - 4
« on: November 10, 2008, 03:07:20 PM »
There are verses about temple paraphernalia in this Stavam.

They, the pure, worship Him with incense, then with lamps,
The snake lamp, the pot lamp, the lamp with five wicks,
The fire-sacrifice lamp, the star lamp, the camphor lamp;
And with holy ash and with fan, with excellent white umbrella,
and chowry and mirror, with flowers sanctified with mantras,
With the camphor tipped lamp.

Quickly they abandon ignorance and see Him clearly every day,
Him whose foot is curved, I worship.

Six times a day, every day,
the lordly sages free from sin, worhship His Linga.
With five products of the cow, with oil, with milk, curds and white ghee,
With honey and pure sugar -- the five fold ambrosia,
With sweet lime juice, with the water of tender coconut;
With boiled rice, with fragrances, with waters of the other Ganga,
   the Siva ganga,
He is the Lord of the Universe,
Him, Whose foot is curved, I worship.
