Who is the One who is walking beside you?
« on: October 30, 2008, 02:27:54 PM »
T.S. Eliot in his famous poem The Waste Land, has written the
line:

Who is the One who is walking beside you?

The meaning is, Godhead is always with us, in a dualistic sense.
This line is an allegory to Amendson's travel to Antarctica, in
the beginning of 19th century.  All sailors excepting Amendson
and his friend have died on the way, owing to unbearable climate,
or fear, or high sea-fever etc., When the remaining two were
sailing further, they 'had a strong feeling that there is someone
else in the ship' guiding them and encouraging them!

Whenever, I open my comp on a morning, I always think that
whatever I write, should be useful and acceptable to all the
Forum members, I should not make any spelling or typo mistakes
etc., etc,  Then I begin to think, 'Why all these worries and thoughts?
Is not Bhagavan Ramana guiding you.  Is He not the person standing
beside you, in front of the computer?'  He is the One who is always
beside us.

Bhagavan Ramana has also told us in Who am I?

"When everything is done by a Paramesvara Sakti, why should
we go on thinking, that I should do this, I should do that?"

He has also said often:

Nin ishtam; En ishatam, meaning in Tamil, "Your wish is my wish!"

Arunachala Siva.

Dear Subramaniyan ji

I also feel the same way, while posting the mails, I admit here, I have poor knowledge in writing letters, and in the language, as my first language is Tamil. I also make lots of mistakes. And at this old age I learn typing on lap top it adds more spelling mistakes. Sometimes my spects are also giving trouble. I have to wait to send mail while my grand kid is away. Inspite of all problems I want to learn how to help myself. They say in tamil, SAGRA KALATHIL SANGRA . But I feel Bhagavan only helps me, through this forum, I am learning lot. ELLAM AVAN SEYAL. everything is done by Him.

Dear Ramanaduli,

Yes.  He is the Unseen Presence.
