saranagathi and samarpanam
« on: October 20, 2008, 07:41:24 AM »
Dear sirs

What is total surrender?. When we say to God, I have come to your feet and surrender myself. Then we should not
ask boon from Him. But we do shashtanga namaskaram and mind asks so many things. If is not for family we may ask
liberation or shanti etc.
2ndly, saranagathi and samarpanam are both same?   When we offer ourself, i.e. samarpanam, we should accept whatever he wishes to give, we have to accept. Is not it?

So which is the best method?  I think when we realised ourself then only  we have pari poorna samarpana bhavam will come. .......?

Dear Ramanaduli,

Sarangati and Atma Samarpanam are the same.  Samarpanam,
merely means "offering".

Arunachaka Siva.
