Instant Liberation.
« on: September 26, 2008, 06:49:29 PM »
Hi Friends,
         :)

so want to have instant liberation ? Right now ? Ok ... ill consider three classes of people here :
a) Those who are laughing at me!
b) Those who are neutral
c)  Those who are hoping.

for (a) and (b) this is not the post.

For (c) ...

The technique is simple : You are not the doer. Things are just happening through you. You are not the doer.

Its Release, if you meditate on it and understand.

Love!

Dear srkudai,  I remember the Kaduveli Siddhar story.  Action
without the sense of doership.  Doership goes off only when
there is no mind.  Saint Tayumanavar, 18th Century says:

I have learnt how to bite a iron rod and eat it like a sugar cane.
I have learnt how to melt the stone and drink it like wine.
O Siva, I have not learnt how to kill my mind!
Please teach me how to kill my mind?

Dear Silence,
The very fact that you are posting this suggests that you have the idea of doership. No one can post something without the ego.
So yes, if you do not have the sense of doership then you are free. The problem is in trying to attain that state.

Regards

Gangajal

Dear Gangajal,  I once wrote that if all of us are self realized,
that is, if all of us had killed the mind and with that the ego
and the sense of doership, then Graham Boyd should close the
shutters of the Forum.   All our activities including posting letters
in the Forum are with the sense of doership.  Perhaps, after the
self realization, one or two of us, may ask Graham to restart
the Forum to give our experience in the form of teachings to the
new comers.  At that point, all doings are without the sense of
doership.

Dear skrudai,  Very much yes!  Incompleteness, gives us troubles
even in our ordinary lives.  This is called 'Gestalt' in management.
There is a book called Gestalt Therapy, by a behavioural scientist.
For example, You shout at your wife or child and go to sleep.  You
cannot get sleep, because your gestalt is incomplete.  Either
you wife or your child should say: "Sorry, I won't do it again."
Or, you should say: "I am sorry, I was too angry for nothing."
Then, the Geslalt is complete.

Dear Silence,Subramanian,

Sri Ramakrishna says that people like Sankara who did write many books and worked very hard kept an 'ego of knowledge'
to do the various work that they did. Such 'ego of knowledge' is only possible for those who are liberated. An un-liberated Jiva will
certainly not be able to do such a thing without a sense of doership.

Silence, you have written, 'i agree, my sense of doership is not totally vanquished.'. This seems to contradict the title of
your thread,"Instant liberation". One would have expected you to be instantly liberated!!

Gangajal

Dear Gangajal, This ego of knowledge was termed as Suddha
Manas by Bhagavan.  It is like a burnt rope, will not harm
anyone.
