Guru Namasivaya's Poems - (19)
« on: September 24, 2008, 05:25:53 PM »
91.  O Annamalai! You are green in half of your form.  You
wear the serpents as your codpiece.  You are sure to rule
over me, without death and in a deathless state of liberation.

92. O Annamalai!  You hold the deer on one hand and a pickaxe
on the other.  Your caves are sought after by Jnanis.  You
peeled the skin of an elephant.  You are with Unnamulai on
your left harm and be a medicine for all devotees.

93.  O Annamalai!  You like lilies and 'konrai' to wear.  You
are praised by the Jnanis, with boundariless tapas,  everyday.
You are the one who is dancing in Thillai, Chidambaram.  You
are the one who burnt the three demons of the Tripura.

94.  O Annamalai!  You are the one pleasant to your devotees.
You have erased my dangerous karmas.  Your name is good
for chanting.  You are the one who look with anger, the dangerous

95. You are the one who became rare to Vishnu who sleeps in
the ocean and to Brahma.  You erase the fate of devotees.
You took the poison that came from the ocean.  You saved the
devas who were shivering with fear.   You are the five faced one.

to be contd.....

Arunachala Siva.
