Guhai Namasivaya's Poems: (75)
« on: September 22, 2008, 06:12:37 PM »
Arunagiri Andati:  continues....

1. O Arunachala!  Not yet found out by Vedas!  I do not
contemplate on your feet.  Nor do I know poems that
praise you.  Nor do I do service to your devotees who know
the poems and your feet.  Please kill my mind and save me.

2. O Arunachala!  I am the puppet dancing in your strings
and you are the puppetur.  What do I know about dancing?
It is under your direction, that I am dancing.  Even the three
karmas are not, in a sense, mine.  It is your wish that I am born.
Please take care of me.

3. O Arunachala!  The destroyer of the Tripura.  My father.
Nectar of Annamalai.  The rain clouds of mercy.  The waters
that save the plants, the devotees who sing your praise.
Please be my saviour.

1. If anyone reads and sings the 100 songs of Arunagiri Andati,
everyday, they will stay in the abode of Arunachalesvara, like
kings in palaces.

2. If one chants the Panchakshara and sings the Andati,  he will
attain the feet of Siva, the god of the devas, the feet that are
beyond the reach of Hari.

3. This poet Namasivaya, living in guhai, the Cave in the
Annamalai,  has composed this poem of 100 verses for the
sake of Siva's devotees, so that they may attain liberation.
