Guhai Namasivaya's Poems: (69)
« on: September 22, 2008, 04:26:33 PM »
Arunagiri Andati: continues....

1. The worries and diseases are crushing me and take my life
everyday.  I have found a way to melt down these worries,
O king of Annamalai, I have to contemplate your golden feet
for ever.  There is no more inadequacy in me.

2. O Arunachala, the king of Annamalai, we have become
your devotees.  There are no wants for us.  O god of devas,
even if god of death appraoches, we shall pluck the trident
from his hand and make him run away.

3. O Arunachala, king of gods, who consumed the poison and
who is wearing 'konrai' flowers, if we keep your lotus feet
in our heart, we shall get the deathless liberation, which even
the devas have to attain with a lot of poojas for you.

4. O Arunachala!  We have heard of enough of stories about
birth, life and death, from the poets.  We shall not hear them
anymore and contemplate only on your golden feet and get
liberated.

5. O Arunachala!  Unless we pray to you, the guileless god
and also to your devotees, with fresh flowers, how can we
get liberation.  The evil minded people, who are like hunters,
will only be hunted by god of death and not we, who are
not afraid of god of death.

to be continued......

Arunachala Siva.
