Guhai Namasivaya's Poems: (67)
« on: September 22, 2008, 02:49:52 PM »
Arungiri Andati:  continues.....

1. O Arunachala!  I do not apply holy ash regularly.  I do not
chant Panchakshara regularly.  Even then, it is for you to liberate
me, the god who wears Ganga and hold the fire on his hand.

2. O Arunachala!  You are the seed for liberation.  Without
chanting Panchakshara, how can I overcome the death and
hell and further birth, O Saviour, king of Annamalai, please save me.

3.  O Arunachala, let my mind be controlled.  Let my body be
punished by fasting.  O Siva of Sonagiri, the holder of deer,
my Father, what is the use of mind?  What is the use of thinking
about my twofold karmas?

4. O Arunachala!  What is the use of greed for worldly desires?
I shall abide by what Siva says to me.  Let me think my mind
as a wound. Let me think of the great after life that you are giving.

5. O Arunachala!  You are my tapas.  You are the fruit of my tapas.
You are my mother and father.  Your bull is the vehicle that shall
take me to your indescribable feet, O faher of Sonagiri!

to be contd.....

Arunachala Siva.
