Arunagiri Andati: continues....

1. O Arunachala!  When the poison started gushing from the
milky ocean, and when the gods and devas were running away
for their lives, you proclaimed:  "Why fear?  I am here".  If
such an assurance is always there for us, your devotees,
let the whole world know our greatness!

2. O Arunachala!  After the death of ten million Brahmas,
the lotus-eyed Vishnu, will go and sleep on a banyan leaf,
on the milky ocean.  When ten miiion Vishnus die out, you
will just smile and dance with your wife!

(The Siva Puranam, speaks about several Brahmas and
Vishnus and only Siva is One without a second.  The sakta
philosphy also maintains this.  One Brahma's life is four eons.
After the death of ten million Brahmas, that is after forty
million eons, Vishnu goes for Yoga Nidra.  After the death
of ten million of such Vishnus, Siva and Uma just smile and
dance!  Totally,  after four hundred million million years, the
universe is destroyed and recreated by Siva and Uma, and it
is their smile and dance.  In Tiruvachakam,  Saint Manikkavachagar,
gives the same idea, in Tiru thol nokkam,  a decad.  It is called
'Looking with love, the shoulders of Siva.  Muruganar has also
sung a Tiru thol nokkam on Bhagavan, in Sri Ramana Sannidhi
Murai.   Sankara in his famous Sri Soundarya Lahari, gives this
idea in Verse 26, "Virinchi Panchatvam.....")

3. O king of Annamalai, who shows a smiling deer on your hand,
you are the one who saves me from the pit of death and rebirth.
You are my Saviour, O Siva,  who else is there, for this lowly dog?

to be contd......

Arunachala Siva.
