Arunagiri Andati: continues....

1.  O Arunachala, without stifling me, these two karmas and three 'malams', (ego, karma (prarabdha) and maya), do they not go
away today?  If I think constantly about you, ever grateful for my devotion, O Annamalai, who is beyond the reach of Naryanana.

2.  O Arunachala, if I meditate on your form, without any break,
you shall remove all my attachments in life, and even the god
of death will be afraid to come near me.  You are the Primal
Cause, the god who consumed the poison.

3. O the Primal Arunachala, I fold my hands, and pray to you,
with a melting heart and tears flooding eyes.  You are sure to
give all gifts that I want.  What act of gratitude I can show to
you, Annamalai?

4. O Arunachala, the king of Annamalai, you destroyed all
the plans of Daksha, who did not give respect you and
killed him, even before his sacrifice started.  Please grant
me to visit your temple, and pray to you, on all the days,
till my eyes become feeble with cataract, O the god
with red matted locks, with Ganga.

5. The form of Sonagiri is wonderful.  He has got the white
holy ash all over his body, he has got serpents and crescent
moon on his head.  He has a garland of skulls of Brahma.
What is not clear to me, is his weapon, which destroys my
two karmas!

to be contd...

Arunachala Siva.
