Guhai Namasivaya's Poems - (42)
« on: September 21, 2008, 02:40:24 PM »
Amman mel Thirunama Venba: continues....

1. O Mother Unnamulai!  You are not afraid of the dangling
skull of Vishnu* on the front of your husband. Nor you afraid
of the skull that is dangling on his trident.   Added to these
all terrific sights, your husband has also got poison on his throat.
How come, you are fearless to occupy the left half of Annamalai,
who is a column of a conflagration!

2. O Mother Unnamulai, you are delivering all the living beings
of this universe from your womb and you give them milk daily.
How come, you are called Unnamulai, a mother with unsuckled
breasts?  Please tell me mother, Unnamulai!

3. O Siva!  For your wife Unnamulai, Who is her relative?  Who is
alien to her?  In the wide world, for all the bad and all the good,
she is the mother.

4. O Mother Unnamulai, who has taken the left side of Siva
with all her passion!  Is it not also your duty, to confer a good
life for all your devotees who come to you with thirst and make
them live happliy for ever?

Amman mel Thiru Nama Venba concluded.

Arunachala Siva.
