Guhai Namasivaya's Poems - (24)
« on: September 21, 2008, 10:18:39 AM »
The third group of Guhai Namasivaya's Poems is called "Parikala
Venba."  It means "Glory of Siva's devotees."

1. All the devotees who praise the glory of Arunachala, and become
His relatives.  They have conquered their ego and self respect as
burnt charcoal and apply the sacred ash daily.  It is they who
conquer death and attain Siva's lotus feet.

2. O Arunachala, who is birthless and deathless, those who wait
at your Presence and pray daily to you, how can they have diseases.
Do not please ever show your anger to them.

3. Those devotees who come to Unnamuali and Annamalai and
pray are ever fearless.  If anyone wants to do harm to them,
shall die with his roots uprooted, after suffering incurable diseases.

4. If anyone wants to punish your devotees, he will become punished
by the king and confined in prison, like the snake imprisoned by a snake charmer.

5. Those who do not give alms to your devotees in any place, such
rascals will be punished by Arunachala, who wears a three digit
crescent moon,  lose their respect and die in a second.

to be contd.....

Arunachala Siva.
