:D nice analogy!

If we notice very carefully, we are bringing stones because there is publicity for stones, as we hear and read that stones are very precious!

your observations are not to be seen just as simple thing, what you have observed is true!

Krishnan, its not meant to you or anybody!

its just myself, what i have been experiencing for some time!

Please feel free and do not get contracted.

Wishing you the best!

This all-embracing "Everything is real. Everything God" makes me happy. The notion "Everything is illusion. Everything is Maya" makes me sad. The first notion is fullness. The second is nothingness. Accepting everything with happiness as Sri Krishna taught I prefer than rejecting everything and feeling sad and strangulated. :)

yes Hari, do we need to specially affirm that which is not, as NOT, that which is unreal as Unreal? does it make any sense? it does not make sense to say that zero has no value, it is self inferred, this inference is also unnecessary!

What is Real now, everything is connected with me --> us, here it becomes applicable what Jesus and others have expressed such as love Thy neighbor as thyself, as thy neighbor is thyself and so on in the likes.

We are just unable to give up what is really UNREAL and cling on to the Unreal!

Reality is affirmative as you have beautifully expressed  -- >"Everything is real. Everything God" makes me happy. The notion "Everything is illusion. Everything is Maya" makes me sad.

There is another thing which I was thinking. Are we really believe by heart that the world and everything is unreal. Yes, I have 'preaching' about unreality till now. But suddenly I really accepted the real possibility of unreality of everything. At this moment it became problem. Till now it was just a concept. I was asking myself "can someone accept and have no problems with this 'theory' if he/she really believe and accept it?" I didn't know what to answer to myself. Can the ego really accept its unreality. Somehow I doubt it. :)

Hari, honestly, in my own direct experience, i see clearly, just the transient nature of the world, not the unreality of it! this unreality bit is illusion! i discern that the biggest illusion is illusion itself!

What is unreality? unreality itself is an illusion, there is nothing that is unreal! Everything is REAL, Everything is REAL.

And this discernment, of the transient nature of 'things' (include everything we are in relation with sentient and non sentient beings), makes us live better, love better, experience with full involvement!

Suppose you know you were going to die, what would you do? this takes us in the shoes of Parikshit, who was supposed to die in 7 days by being biiten by a deadly snake due to a curse by a Sage. Would it make us live better? and is this not the nearest responsibility?

Self is already known, realised, we really need do nothing to attain it! But, this now becomes a call to live well as to where we are as of now!

ground reality, Hari is that, we may not know the final conclusion, but what we are experienceing as of now, what we seem to know as of now is just as good as watching a cinema. It is as real as the span of the movie. Moreover it is so real to the extent of our involvement in it.

This is not the point what I want. The point is that I could not have good spirit accepting that I am talking to ghosts in my head (you, my parents and so on). :)

haha :D but in one ways it is true, even if they are all not ghosts for now, they are all prospective ghosts, as nothing lasts. what is there today may not be there tomorrow. So they say, do not depend on them, that is all! This is only known as maya, that knowing very well that they all don't last forever, still one latches onto such dependence!

nice conversing with you Hari, they are simply matter of fact! no loads to carry and prove something! :)

Hari, here is a Buddha quote, you are aware off:

“Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.”

just do so in good spirit! 'Stop not till the goal is reached' - Swami Vivekananda

Follow your heart, Hari, we have to find our own truth, if it matches or not with some siddhanta is of any irrelevance.

We all have to jump into the waters and see for ourselves! no matter how much we may describe the taste of tea, unless one drinks it, he does not know!

find your own truth, don't be limited by advaita or dvaita or shunya... who knows may be you may discover a new siddhantaa, in good spirit! :)

Stray thoughts...

it just feels disgustingly disrespectful and shies away to even to use the term 'Guru', hereafter!

The Samskrut word 'prapancha' - a term used to describe the world or the universe, simply means, that which is seen through the 5 senses is prapancha, pancha means 5, and pra may mean anything like that which shines, shows and so on.

Suppose one of the senses is cut off, that sense of the world dies, if you loose your eyes, you no longer see the world, if you loose your ears you no longer hear the world, if you loose the tongue sensation, you can no longer taste the world, if you loose the touch sensation, you can no longer feel the world.

In addition, if you perhaps had an additional sense perception, we may have perceived the world in that sense.

(inspired thoughts)

Hari, these questions are tricky and have no really written answers, and even if there are, may not necessarily be satisfactory!

I would like present some abstract thoughts, which may be of some solace.

The world is part of the body. The body is inclusive of the world, or, the world is inclusive of the body!

Truly, solipsism is for whom? its for the mind! The Self itself is not bothered if its there or not there! What is seen through mind is solipsism and when mind is sacrificed, there is the end of solipsism.

Just look at the plain night sky, before we knew what it was, what was it? Then we were told about the sky, and the sky was seen, then we were told about the stars, and the stars were seen, then we were told about zodiacs and we began to see the zodiacs in the stars and so on. So in such sense, it is said the world arises from you.

Do not bother much about these Hari, The Sages as i have understood mean to say that learn, discern that you are not this world as seen, you are not this body as see, and so on. You are free to play, thereafter!

The Upanishads have said and Bhagavan has said in his talks:

The world is only lokah, lokah = lokyate iti lokah (what is perceived is the world). That which is seen is lokah or the world. Which is the eye that sees it? That is the ego which rises and sinks periodically. But you exist always. Therefore That which lies beyond the ego is consciousness - the Self.

The Sages, the Vedas, have only revealed to us thus far, as to showing us that we are not not is seen, but we are the Seer, that is beyond! They never went to really say about the nature of that Seer, what it does, and so on --> these are just the speculations of mind!

The Sages were only giving out the message to discern and just know what you come across art not Thyself! That is all!

If you are in bad company, then you will talk and think like your companions.
On the other hand, when you are in the company of devotees,
you will think and talk only of God.

d: i have been throwing mud on myself, occasionally!

cguru: why so?

d: i have been playing in the muddy waters!

cguru: why do you play where the Ganges is dirty and filthy, why not play where the Ganges is pure and serene!
