Dear Sri Anil ji,

Thank you for the kind words, what can i say, it is just the process of life and some changes, i observe, apart from wanting some solitude myself. Also i do not have a regular access to computer like before. Life has been moving on, but the Self has just remained constant. What remains is just    विस्मय 'vismayam'

:)

Dear Suresh,

Sufferings, difficulties, adversities are a definite symptoms of grace of Guru. When granted a boon by Lord Krishna, Kunti, mother of Pandavas asked for more and more sufferings. I pray and wish you get peace and contentment through these trials and tribulations. All will be fine in the end. Just hang around prayerfully and humbly and these moments are a call to not allow emotions take over wisdom. Bhagavan is around guiding you in various forms.

"It is extremely hard to rest undistracted in the nature of mind, even for a moment, let alone to self-liberate a single thought or emotion as it rises. We often assume that simply because we understand something intellectually, - or think we do - we have actually realised it. This is a great delusion. It requires the maturity that only years of listening, contemplation, reflection, meditation, and sustained practice can ripen."

What we resist keeps attacking us. Instead of resisting any disturbance, if we can spare a moment and reflect, in that very moment of friction, it will be found that the very disturbance is cognized, therefore we must be different from that disturbance, and really that disturbance is not touching us. With this recognition we can respond prudently.

All problematic emotions pertain only to the mind, the personality, but never to us who stand as the untouched witness. These problematic emotion are often thrown at us like tomatoes and eggs only so that we can recognise ourselves emphatically.

"Don’t think that only sitting with the eyes closed is practice. If you do think this way, then quickly change your thinking. Steady practice is keeping mindful in every posture, whether sitting, walking, standing or lying down. When coming out of sitting, don’t think that you’re coming out of meditation, but that you are only changing postures. If you reflect in this way, you will have peace. Wherever you are, you will have this attitude of practice with you constantly. You will have a steady awareness within yourself."

tu pyaar ka saagar hai
you are an ocean of love

teri ek boond ke pyaase hum
we are thirsty for a single drop of love

lauta jo diya tune
if you turn us away

chale jaayenge jahaan se hum
we will go away from this world

the wounded bird of the heart is restless to fly

pankh hai komal, aankh hai dhundli
the wings are delicate, the eyes are foggy

jaana hai saagar paar
have to go across the ocean

jaana hai saagar paar
have to go across the ocean

ab tu hi ise samjha
now only you can explain it to my soul and heart

raah bhoole the kahan se hum
from where have we forgotten the path

idhar jhoom ke gaaye zindagi
on this side life sings and dances

udhar hai maut khadi
on that side death is standing

Koi kya jaane kahaan hai seema
who can know where is the border

uljhan aan padi
the mind is confused now

kaano mein zara keh de
tell me in my ears

ki aaye kaun disha se hum
from which direction have we come

tu pyaar ka saagar hai
you are an ocean of love

teri ek boond ke pyaase hum
we are thirsty for a single drop of love

teri ek boond ke pyaase hum
we are thirsty for a single drop of love

tu pyaar ka saagar hai
you are an ocean of love

A bird sat absent-mindedly on the mast of a ship anchored in the Ganges. Slowly the ship sailed out into the ocean. When the bird came to its senses, it could find no shore in any direction. It flew toward the north hoping to reach land; it went very far and grew very tired but could find no shore. What could it do? It returned to the ship and sat on the mast. After a long while the bird flew away again, this time toward the east. It couldn't find land in that direction either; everywhere it saw nothing but limitless ocean. Very tired, it again returned to the ship and sat on the mast. After resting a long while, the bird went toward the south and toward the west. When it found no sign of land in any direction, it came back and settled down on the mast. It did not leave the mast again, but sat there without making any further effort. It no longer felt restless or worried. Because it was free from worry, it made no further effort.

Our only duty is to seek the Master of the
garden and speak to Him. The only
purpose of life is to realize God.

703

Even if you try not to do your duty you will be
perforce obliged to do it. Let the body complete
the task for which it came into being.

Oudasinyam abhipsitam.

Indifference is advised.
But what is it?
It is absence of

love and hatred.

This ignorance must go. Again, who says ‘I am ignorant’? He must
be the witness of ignorance. That is what you are. Socrates said,
“I know that I do not know.” Can it be ignorance? It is wisdom.
