This is what Sri Ramakrishna says in the Gospel:
The Master was highly pleased with the ostad's music. He said to the musician, "There is a
special manifestation of God's power in a man who has any outstanding gift, such as
proficiency in music."

When two great people meet, we souls get the ambrosia of their churning in the end. Moments of deep reflections! It is only poets who are able to churn something from the depths of abyss, unlimited, vast expanse, into something so profound, for us ordinary souls, we are just simply bowled over at the vast expanse... how wonderful!

Truly, poets are gifted, some poets are the messengers of God. in the past you had posted "Poojiyathile oru rajjiyathhai" all of his songs are amazing, and what rendering by PBS, They all had wisdom, :) these songs are so profound that when i really happened to see the movie, the plot of the story line could not even really carry the weight of wisdom of these songs, they could only attempt! Kannadaasan is truly a gem.

Fascinating speech of Mahaswami, i remembered the talk of Sri Nochur Acharya, where he talked about the significance of Modakam, the bestower of bliss, how children are more interested in the Poornam [the sweat within] than the outer cover [sheaths] Those who are not familiar may compare with cream biscuits, children are interested in the cream more than the biscuits :) cream being Poornam.

I have heard of many incidents in Mahaswami's journyes how the Elephant God has appeared in various instants in the form of elephant and otherwise and unfolded events such beyond the grasp of mind.

Since God is verily the Self in the heart,
constant meditation on the Truth of oneself
is the devotion that is most pleasing to God.

बुरा जो देखण मैं चला बुरा न मिलया कोए ।
जो मन् खोजा आपणा तो मुझसे बुरा न कोए ॥

Bura Jo Dekhan Main Chala, Bura Naa Milya Koye
Jo Munn Khoja Apnaa, To Mujhse Bura Naa Koye

I searched for the crooked, met not a single one
When searched myself, was none as crooked as “I”

सुखदुखात्मनैरात्म्यनित्यानित्यादिशु प्रभो ।
इति नानाविकल्पेशु बुद्धिस् तव न सज्जते ॥

sukha-dukhaatma-nairaatmya-nitya-anityaa-dishu prabho
iti naanaa-vikalpeshu buddhis tava na sajjate

Your [Buddha] mind is not attached, o Lord, to the various mental creations:
happiness, suffering; [existence of] atman, inexistence of Atman; eternal, non eternal;
etc.

Have you removed your own ‘spiritual drowsiness?’ The force
which is set up to remove your own ‘drowsiness’ will also operate
in other centres. There is the will-power with which you can act
on others.
But it is on a lower plane and not desirable. Take care
of yourself first.

(Talks)

Two gentlemen from Ambala (the Punjab) had been here for a few
weeks. Just before taking leave of Sri Bhagavan one of them asked
how he should remove the spiritual drowsiness of his friends or of
other people in general.

Path is myth, truly there is no path. Path is just a creation of mind which is said to not exist!

What is, is just the destination alone, all the time!

Sri Atmavichar,

This will of interest to you in the same line of post as yours as above:

D.   How is the spiritual uplift of the people to be
      effected? What are the instructions to be given them?

M.  They differ according to the temperaments of the individuals and
     according to the spiritual ripeness of their minds. There cannot be
     any instruction en masse.

Sorrow [is] better than laughter: for by the sadness of
the countenance the heart is made better.

The heart of the wise [is] in the house of mourning;
but the heart of fools [is] in the house of mirth.

[It is] better to hear the rebuke of the wise,
than for a man to hear the song of fools.

For as the crackling of thorns under a pot, so [is]
the laughter of the fool: this also [is] vanity.

A wise man’s heart [is] at his right hand;
but a fool’s heart at his left.

thy judgments have I laid
