What other kinds of visa than tourist visas can you get?
I read about a resident visa that would allow you to buy land near Arunachala, how can you get that?

self enquiry is about investigating the self to see how it is that what you are DOING now started .
I may be wrong here, but to may limited knowledge Bhagavan said that inquiry of The Self is impossible since it is not an object.
We can only inquiry into the ego & it's source.
When you find it - you discover it does not exist.

I read about her. The book I read is in Telugu. She is one of the famous Avadhuta's from Andhra Pradesh.

You can find her leela's and lifestory(in telugu) here

Regrettably I don't know any Telugu, but thank you for the information.  :)

I have no hand for cooking.  :-[
When I eat lentils in an Indian restaurant they taste delicious - when I cook them at home they always become starchy.

I love to read about Nisgaradatte Maharaj and Papa Ramdas, I find them to be a great inspiration.

Your pictures are most cute. Do you know the baby photos of Anne Geddes?
Here are some of them I found on web:

Dear Mr. Subramanian,

You do not know by chance if there is some picture available made from that spot?
I would love to see all the 5 peaks together.

Greetings,
Jyoti

I saw it on tv many years ago, luckily it also is available on DvD now.
A true peace of art this television play comes without special effects ala Hollywood (or Bollywood).

Here 2 scenes from youtube:

Health & Welfare Issues / Sattvic curry recipe for lentils or beens
« on: August 23, 2013, 01:46:32 AM »
I'm going to change my diet towards less meat and more sattvic food.
Therefore I would like to know a recipe for a sattvic curry that gives lentils and beens a good taste..
In my country I can buy curry powder in the supermarket - but I doubt that an Indian would recognize that stuff as 'curry'.
I know there are many different recipes, but does one know a simple one which does not require too many different spices?
