Verse 313:

It was then the child ruled by the Lord, was
Nearing the shrine; his arrival was thus
Trumpeted: "Behold! Tirugnaanasambandhar
Of true and redeeming wisdom is come!"
When he who was heaving sighs of distress
Heard the announcement that assured
Deliverance to all the worlds, he left the soft one
And hastened to receive the godly child.

Verse  312:

No treatment would cure her; so he carried her
To the temple of the Lord, who panoplied in martial habit,
Of annihilated the triple cities;
To be cured of the misery he laid her before
The presence of the Lord, as he was of the clan
Which for ever held fast to the worship of the feet
Of the Lord whose hand sports a fawn.

There in that town, the daughter of Kolli Mazhavan,
Verily a beauteous shoot, a dazzling splendour,
A fawn-like virgin whose speech was ambrosial,
Stood afflicted with Muyalakan; so the chieftain
Sorely languished, pained in body and mind,
While his great kin lamented.

He left that town and adored the merciful One
In all the shrines nearby; he proceeded through
Mazhanaadu rich in its roaring wealth of waters
And fields ever miry as lotuses hit by the leaping
Cale-fish burst and spill their honey thither;
He traveled on the northern bank of the Ponni;
The Prince of Pukali neared the shrine
Of our Lord?s Tiru-p-Paacchilaacchiraamam.

He adored the court of the Lord who is enthroned
In Tirumaanthurai and in whose crown courses
The Ganga of multitudinous fords; he circumambulated
The long and beauteous shrine, prostrated
Before the Lord, and hymned in ever-during garlands
Of Tamizh verse, the glory of the Lord who was
Thither hailed by the dense and myriad-rayed
Sun, Moon and Maruts.

He proceeded from there with the Lord?s grace
To Tiru-k-Kaanoor and thither adored
And hailed the Lord; he came to Anbilaalanthurai
Where abide Aadi-Saiva-Brahmins, and adored Him;
He visited the many shrines of the Lord of matted hair
And hymned Him; then the wearer of the sacred thread
Reached Maanthurai on the western bank where abides
The Lord who peeled off the hide of the hill-like
Tusker from which exuded a cascade of ichor.

Divinely fragrant; He prostrated before them, rose up
And again adored them; He danced and with his songs
Which are fragrant garlands of verse,
He adorned the Lord, and moved out hailing him;
He abode thither for a few days worshipping
His Lord in ceaseless love.

K.R.K. Murthy writes in Arunachala's Ramana, Boundless Ocean
of Grace, Volume 6:

1. Once there was a discussion about the foodstuffs such as onions, drumsticks, carrots etc.,
which orthodox people avoid. Bhagavan Ramana remarked that they may do good to the body
but not to the mind.  They may purify the blood and benefit the body but they rouse passions
and are not helpful for the purification of the mind, chiddasuddhi.

2.  Giving up certain fruits, nuts or other foodstuff dear to one, during the pilgrimages to holy
places like Kasi, is one of the practices prevalent among the religious people.  One day Bhagavan
noticed a devotee avoiding a mango on this ground and commented that a better form of 'tyaga' -
renunciation would be to accept whatever one happens to get and not to crave for which
that is not available.

3. Once Bhagavan Ramana also told that one may avoid things that do not agree with one's
constitution and take necessary quantities of suitable ones that do him good.  But maintenance
of body and health should not occupy much attention as it is not our chief pursuit in life.

4. Bhagavan never used to compromise with equality in serving meals.  He never agreed to
accept anything which is not equally shared by His fellow diners.  He was satisfied only when He was
served in the end, after everyone was served.  Even under exceptional situations, He was not willing
to take the food of superior quality unless it was distributed to all.

5. Bhagavan made people of different tongues in South India quite at home by speaking or
writing in their respective languages.  It requires a great effort to cross the narrow linguistic
barriers and shed the unjustifiable prejudices against other languages and appreciate good
works in them.  Only one who studies one or two languages in addition to his mother tongue
and moves and lives with others has ample opportunities of broadening his outlook and also
reaching others' hearts.  The initial linguistic affinities do not last long and after all, people of
the same mentality flock together whatever their mother tongue is.  Bhagavan Ramana is
particularly adored because He had taken a lot of pains to master several languages and write
His works in the same for the benefit of devotees from various parts.  His glorious example
will continue to influence generations of devotees to put forth their best efforts in this direction
and to come closer by understanding one another better.

Bhagavan Ramana's humor is itself quite harmless. His children(the devotees) were also making
jokes like Him, without harming anyone and at the same time revealing highest Truth.

Once one kitchen server, I think it is Sampurnamma, served Bhagavan Ramana with more of rice.
Bhagavan Ramana told her:  It is quite a large quantity.  Sampurnamma said:  "What is
large?  What is small?  It is all in the mind!"

Bhagavan laughed heartily and said:  "O, You are telling my teachings to me!"

O effulgent One !
My mind will not think that there is any God other than You.

O Lord,
when will I reach You?
This deceptious one can gain salvation only through You,
for there is No reality other than You.
Be pleased to save me,
A mere infant.
Alas save me through Your mercy.
This sinner has no means at all to gain salvation at Your feet (with You),
O Lord-God !

Verse  45:

O Mother!  Without praying and doing jobs for You, without praying to your golden feet, on their own
accord, there were some Jnanis who were doing duties.  If I do like them, I am not sure whether You
will like that or hate that.  I do not know.  But even if I do mistakes, You should not mistake them
and You should confer Your grace on me.  And that is the Justice.

23.  Wherever there be a holy act, whenever there can be an evil action, whatever is done by you
in truth -- are all illusory, be sure.

24.  All his and all of me are all Brahman, be sure.  Whatever little appears is all illusory, be sure.

25.  Ribhu:

Let me repeat to you the secret and that which is most wondrous, taught to Kumara by Sankara
on the Mount Kailasa.

26.  All is 'That'  alone, consciousness only and the undivided essence only, devoid of even the number
one.  All is awareness alone.

27.  This is all consciousness alone.  All is full of awareness indeed. The reflection of the Self too is
conscious alone.  All is full of awareness, indeed.

28.  All world is consciousness alone.  All is full of awareness indeed.  'You being' and 'my  being' too
are consciousness alone.  There is not a whit besides awareness.

29.  Space, earth, air, fire, Brahma, Hari.  Siva - the least whatever of these and even a trifle other than'
these too -- are all full of awareness indeed.'

30.  Whatever consciousness there is, that is all undivided essence alone.  The past and future are
consciousness only.  All is awareness indeed.

contd.,

Arunachala Siva..

422. The ignorant one, because of his confounding body with the Self, thinks of himself as with form
and extensive with that body.  The Sage is aware of the Self as infinite, formless Being, this is the distinction
in the meaning of what is said by these two.

423.  What is seen as the 'body' by the ignorant appears to the Sage only as the Self;  and He refers to it
as 'I', ignoring the body form through His Right Awareness.

424.Also, when the two say that the world is real, there is difference in the meaning, though the words
are the same. For the ignorant one the Reality is veiled by the differences, while to the Sage It appears
as it really is.

425. Unaware of the Substratum of the world-appearance,seeing only the superimposed multitude of
inert objects, and believing that this word of objects is real in its own right, the ignorant one says:
'The world is real.'

426. On the other hand, to the Sage there shines only the Substratum, which is the Pure Reality,
nameless and formless.  For Him the superimposition does not appear as real.  That being the case,
how can He say that the world is unreal?

427.  This world, which, to the one whose eye is blinded by the unawareness of his own Real Self,
conceals the Supreme Being, is itself concealed,to the One whose eye is purified by the Right Awareness
of that Self, by that same Supreme Being.

428. Just as one, that has become wise as the truth of the mirage, may again see the mirage without
being deluded, so too the Sage, seeing this world, does not think of it as real, as does the ignorant one.

Verse 306:

As he reached the outskirts of Tirumazhapaadi
Whose Lord sports a fawn in His roseate hand,
He hymned a decad beginning with the words:
"Angkaiyaar azhal." Adoring, and singing
That they who adore with their heads Mazhapaadi,
Are persons of great and soaring tapas,
He entered the temple.
