Verse  522:

Reaching the temple of the Lord of the celestial beings,
They prostrated on the hallowed floor;
The godly child hymned before the divine presence
Of the Lord a melodic decade in Tamizh,
Moved out and came to the bounteous mansion
Of flawless and glorious Murukanaar
And abode there; that unique servitor attended
To them and would not allow aught to mar his hospitality;
Thus the godly child sojourned there joyously.

Self Inquiry is inquiring into the futility of all non-self.  Once the Truth is found, there is no more
practice.  The way and the goal become one.  See Sri Arunachala Navamani Malai:  Annamalaiyai
adiyenai, aNda anre, en aavi udal, koNdai, enakkor kurai undo?  Kuraiyum gunamum nee allal,
ennen ivatrai ennuiyire, eNNam adhuvo adhu seyvai, KaNNe un dhan kazhal iNiayil kadhal
perukke tharuvaaye.....

Just love and surrender to Bhagavan Ramana.  All roles would take care of themselves.

Bhagavan Ramana never spoke about in any detail, since the Self has no sex and Bhagavan saw
everyone as Himself, the Self.  No woman and man differences.  But He took people as they were
and graced them to improve.  David Godman mentions about one such question by a devotee and
Bhagavan Ramana said:  "You can sleep with your voluptious neighbor, provided you have no
sense of doership!"   This answers all the questions.

Once Chinnaswamy drove away a coolie because he was making advances to another voluptuous
lady-coolie.  Bhagavan Ramana did not say anything at all about this incident.  Next day, while
coming down from the Hill, He saw a dog vigorously copulating with a bitch.  He asked a devote
who was standing beside Him:

"Who is going to drive away these dogs?"

Un kaNNil neer vazhinthal kannamma, en kaNNil udhiram kottuthadee..... Poet Subrahmanya Bharati.
If tears flow down from your eyes, blood flows down from My eyes!  Bhagavan Ramana
treated even the most sinful as worth for improvement and not for punishing.  He has also said:
"I have come here to grace the people and not to punish them.  If I start punishing erring beings,
not even a crow can fly over the Asramam!"

My wife Anu, dropped me off at Dulles International Airport. Washington D.C.  Four weeks earlier we
been sitting in our Puja Room in our house in Vienna, Virginia discussing the plans for our India trip in
July 2010, in connection with the Upanayanam of my brother's son as well as the Sathabhishekam celebrations
of my father.

I mentioned that it would be unlikely that I would be able to visit Arunachala until 2011. As a self employed
physician I could never afford to take more than ten days off from work at a single time.  Each trip to India
represented an enormous expense since I had to continue paying the practice expenses and payroll while
effectively earning no money and at the same time incurring additional expenses while in India.  Thus I have
to earn and save money for each trip. I had already made a trip to Pune in May 2009, I had resigned myself
to mental contemplation of the only place that I truly call my home.

As I spoke these words my gaze moved to the picture of Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi.   The gentle countenace
smiled back at me as if relishing a secret joke.

O One who devoured abounding venom as ambrosia !
O King of sempiternal Uttharakosamangkai !
O Cathalicon unto them subject to the malady of embodiment !

Sell me or pledge me."
I,

can only say so.
Will You forsake me?

Verse  65:

O Abhirami, the creeper of bliss!  Once Your husband Siva burnt Manmatha, in the sight of worlds,
sky and earth!  For such a person how can You give Muruga, the beautiful,  the six faced and twelve hands,
son?   What a great love You have for others!

60.  What whit of idea there is,  is nothing but a great fault.  What whit of idea there is, is referred to
as the periods of time.

61.What whit of idea there is, is called name and form.  Wherever there be conception there is gross world.

62. Wherever there be conception that verily is unreal.  What little of idea there is, that is the world,
no doubt.

63. What trace of ideation there be, all of that is naught. Be certain of this.  Mind alone is the whole world.
Mind alone is the great adversary.

64.  Mind alone is transmigration.  Mind alone is the threefold world.  Mind alone is great sorrow.
Mind alone is ageing etc.,

65.  Mind alone is time and mind itself taint.  Mind alone is will.  Mind alone is the individual.

66. Mind alone is pollution, ever.  Mind alone is magic.  Mind is itself illusion always.  Mind is like the
son of a barren woman.

67.  Mind itself never exists.  Mind itself inert always. Mind is verily thought and mind is egoism only.

562.  For Him that is established in the Supreme state, desires also do not arise, because therein
the desirer, the Ego, has ceased to exist.  The Sage in that State, is ever contented, as if He had
obtained simultaneously enjoyment of all possible desires at one stroke.

563.  Since the Real Self is all that is, nothing remains for the Sage to be won, when the Self is won.
Hence in the sacred lore, the Sage is spoken as one who has attained and enjoyed all objects of desire,
and is therefore desire-less, just like God Himself.

564.  By the sentence, 'For whose desire and desiring what object would that One suffer from identification
with the body, who has experienced the Truth of His own Self?', Revelation shows that for the Sage
desires do not arise.

565.'Only that man has desires, who identifies himself with the body.'  But the Sage has become free
from the thought, 'I am the body'.  The Sage looks upon His own body as if it were the body of another.

566.  In the Supreme State, there is no tasting of Bliss;  for there the sense of being happy or miserable
cannot arise.  Because in that state there are no pairs of opposites, the Bliss of the Sage is not like the
pleasure and misery of samsara.

567.  In that State none of the sheaths remain whereby for the ignorant, the Real Self becomes circumscribed
and finatized.  For therein the Self is infinite like the sky, free from the limiting factors, the sheaths.

568.  The Guru has said that the State of Nirvana which puts an end to all the samasric sufferings,
which was taught by Bhagavan Buddha, is only the remaining in the Supreme State, taught here,
on the falling off of all the sheaths.

Naavukkarasar and Murukanaar, the glorious
Among men, and also the servitors of the Lord
Whose flag sports the Bull, came to receive
The godly child; they bowed before him,
The elephant-cub of Pukali which is girt with waters
Rich in cool flowers; then all of them came
To the temple of the Lord, the Purifier.

Rich in cool and leafy lotuses.

The chief of Kauniyas who came to be born
In Kaazhi that its citizens might flourish well,
Adoring Aaroor of the Lord--unknowable to Vishnu,
The wielder of the disc--, departed reluctantly;
He adored at Panaiyoor the Lord who peeled off the hide
Of the strong and rutting tusker,
Hymned a divinely musical decade whose import
Is that of the great Vedas, and sojourned there.

Reaching the outskirts of Aaroor, the outstanding city
On earth, he stood there facing it and addressed
His heart thus: "O flawless heart, fear not;
Do you not know the way of deliverance?
Forget not to adore Lord Siva?s Aaroor." Then folding
His roseate hands in adoration he sang the divine
Decad beginning with the words: "Pavanamaai-ch-chodaiyaai?"
