Verse 268:

While so hearing of the glories
Of Jnaana Sambandhar--the Master of Tamizh great--,
Who was fed with the milk of infinite wisdom
From a golden goblet by the Goddess
Whose soft fingers sport with a ball
And who came with the Supreme Lord
Riding the mount, the galloping Bull--,
Naavaukkarasar came to Poontharaai where dwell
The Brahmins, to adore him.

Verse 267:

When thus the divine child graced them,
The Brahmins, as it were, wore it
On their crowns, hailed him and were
Immersed in joy; then the godly child
Proceeded to the Lord's sacred Ark, adored Him,
Hymned Him in musical decades of Truth,
And enshrining in his mind the fragrant
Flower-feet of the Lord, moved out.
He accompanied with the devotees and spent his days
Hailing the feet of the Supernal Lord.

It was unusually cold winter and this particular day among the coldest.  Manavasi Ramaswamy Iyer
had two shirts made because he wanted Bhagavan Ramana to be warm with something more
adequate to protect from from the biting cold, than the usual loin cloth and the occasional cotton
towel over His top.

Lacking the courage to present them personally, he placed them on the stool in front of Bhagavan's
sofa while Bhagavan was taking a walk on the Hill.  Upon His return, Bhagavan saw them and
questioned the attendant.  Just then, Manavasi Ramaswami Iyer]put his appearance and murmured
inaudibly.  "Bhagavan, it was I who put them there.  It is very cold Bhagavan and ....."
But Bhagavan interrupted him, saying, "Did I complain that it was cold?"

"No, Bhagavan, I took the initiative.  I thought Bhagavan should protect Himself."

But Bhagavan wouldn't hear of it.  "No, take them away."

Manavasi persisted and yet nothing would make Bhagavan accept them.  Finally with a tinge
of frustration, Bhagavan Ramana said, "I already wear five shirts", referring to the panchakosas.
Is the sixth one necessary?"

(Manavasi Ramaswami Iyer is famous for his Sarangati Song. Once when he had serious stomach
problem and could not eat anything excepting gruel, for months, Bhagavan Ramana made
him to sit and have lunch with Him in the Asramam.  His stomach pain disappeared once for all.
He wrote the famous Saranagati song.  Even today this is sung at Ramana homes for getting
justified wants fulfilled, through Ramana's Grace.)

There was one gentleman by name Thinnai Swami.  He came to see Bhagavan Ramana with his family.
When he was taking leave of Bhagavan, Bhagavan merely said, "Iru".  "Be."  He continued
in Tiruvannamalai for another 25 years, and the family left him and visiting him occasionally.  He
was living in a Thinnai, the front portal of a large house.  No bath.  No change of dress.  Food, only
when someone offers.  Such is the magnetic spell of Bhagavan Ramana.

Bhagavan Ramana has said to some new visitors asking about His biography to read the Sri Ramana Ashottaram of Sri Viswanatha Swami.  It covers His place of birth, His gothra, His father's name,
His living in Madurai, His Atma Jnana Udayam in Chokkappa Naicken Street, His reaching Arunachala,
His stay in Virupaksha Cave, Skandasramam, His works like Upadesa Saram, Sad Darsanam,
Arunachala Stuti Panchakam, Sri Ramana Gita etc., It also speaks about Matrumukti and finally
ends as Om Sri Purushottamaya Namah.  There are implicit references about His avatara of Skanda.

Verse  61:

O Mother, the daughter of Himavan!  The sister of Vishnu, with red eyes!  I am a dog but You have on your
accord considered me worthy and forgetting Yourself, You have got hold of me as Your devotee!  Not only
that, You have given me the knowledge, to know Your true nature!  I must have done great merit for
this!

53.  The triad of qualities does not exist in the least.  So does the composition of the triad of qualities.
Expressions such as 'one' and 'two' are non existent; so is the delusion and misapprehension of 'many'.

54.  Delusion and the lack of it are indeed non existent.  Be certain that nothing in the least is there.
These being Brahman alone, nothing in the least remains.

55.  Whoever hears this composedly becomes Brahman oneself.

56.  Isvara:  As bubbles arise on waters of the ocean celestial beings, humans and animals appear
in the ocean of the solid bliss of Uma's beloved, Siva - ever and anon.  Like the recurring waves, they
manifest over and over in future as in the past, out of the illusory potency of the Lord.  There is no
transmigration for those who realize Me thoroughly through experience.

57.  Those who have not overcome delusion cannot realize the Lord to be omniscient, the all devouring,
the casual force of all body functions; the consort of Uma; the effulgent one reflected in the pool of heart
space; the one who is like an eagle to the serpent of mundane existence.

The 5th chapter titled 'Description of Siva's teaching to Kumara' of Part 6 of Sri Siva Rahashya entitled
Sankara' of Sri Siva Rahasya ended.

391.  Deluded men, who have not heard the truth of the Supreme State, argue in vain, saying that if
there be only one Self, then there is a dilemma, that either, by the deliverance of one all will be
delivered, or none will attain deliverance.

392.  There is no objection to the souls being conceived as many.  But the view of the many-ness of the
Real Self is unacceptable.  The souls are many and unreal;  but the Real Self is real, auspicious and only One.

393.  There  are no real fragments of the One Supreme Consciousness; the fragments appear only because
of the Ignorance.  To the sage in the Supreme State that Consciousness shines as one Whole, not divided
into parts.

394. Consciousness is One, omnipresent and equal; its unequal distribution is only an illusion. And
because space is unreal, its equal also is real.

395. Thus it has been clearly stated by the Master that the Supreme Consciousness remains Whole,
not divided into parts. Let disciples of non sages be deluded.  How can there be delusion for us on this
point?

396.  Since it is thus settled that the one named soul does not exist, how can we think of his bondage
or deliverance?  There is neither bondage nor deliverance for the Real Self, who remains unswervingly
whole and alone in His Own True State.

397.  The soul comes to be taken as real by the failure to discriminate rightly, due to the mutual false
identification of the two, namely this body which is limited in space and time and the Self, who is only
one Consciousness, and unlimited by those two, space and time.

398.  Assuming that one particular body is oneself, then concluding that the body is real, and seeing
many other bodies as real, the ignorant man sees different souls in them.

    றஞ்செழுத்தின் திருப்பதிகம் அருளிச் செய்தார்.

He expounded to them, all the Vedic mantras and also
Cleared the doubts which clung to their minds
About the rituals ordained by the Vedas;
Then to bless the great Brahmins with clarity
He taught them that the source whence sprang
All the primal and foremost mantras, was
The First One's Panchaakshara; then the hymned
The divine decade of Panchaakshara; which says:
"The mantra chanted at the confluence of the day
And the night is only the holy Panchaakshara!"

When the godly child thus chanted
The numerous Vedas and also explicated
The six Angas thereof, the Brahmins
Thought of the loftiness of him who was
Blessed with the divine grace of the Lord--
The Supernal Flame whose brilliance
Is like that of the combined blaze of billions
And billions of young suns--; the Brahmins
Endowed with the artful mastery of the Vedas,
Struck with wonder, hailed him in love;
They deemed the scion of the Kauniyas to be
The visible manifestation of their very meditation
And worshipped him; they had all their doubts
Pertaining to the great Vedas, resolved by him,
And thus they flourished.

Unto him who was not to be involved
In any birth at all, the Brahmin-saints
In unison with the way of the world, performed
The investiture betokening the second birth;
Standing before him, chanting mantras,
They said: "Om! In keeping with the hoary tradition
We hereby grant you all the four Vedas!"
The holy one of Pukali, in his sweet voice,
Chanted to them the numerous and holy Vedas.

As he abode in his great and opulent mansion,
He daily went to the Lord?s shrine of the sacred Ark,
Prostrated before Him and sang many a fitting decade;
As he thus joyously abode, hailing the Lord,
He reached the age when he was to be invested
With the sacred thread; he who was blessed
With Siva Gnaanam--the Transcendental Gnosis--,
Had the hoary Vedic rituals of the investiture
Performed for him by the Brahmins;
He bore on his person the sacred thread knit to a piece
Of deer-skin, hailed by the celestial beings.

Even as the Brahmins offered obeisance to his feet,
The divine child with his father close by,
Entered his mansion; the righteous women
Of the Brahmin clan holding pots filled with
Holy water, lamps and the like, received him;
The divine mother who gave birth to him came
Before him with the sacred vessel of holy ash,
Adorned him therewith, paid obeisance to him
And praised him; he who was blessed by the Lord
With a beauteous palanquin inlaid with pearls,
Duly graced them all and moved into the Matam.
