Verse 51:

The demons were thinking that Tripura is permanent and not to be destroyed.  Siva vanquished Tripura.
He and Vishnu pray to You, Abhirami!  O Mother!  You will vanquish the fear of death in those devotees,
who pray to You, 'Surrender, Surrender'.  You will also take them away from this false worldly life,
and grant Moksha without any further birth!

contd.,

Arunachala Siva.

458: He, who, not knowing that the body is in the Self, and so believes that He, the Self, is in the body,
is the same as the one who thinks that the screen, which is the support of the pictures, is in the pictures.

459:  Is the jewel separate from the gold?  Is the body separate from the Self?  The ignorant one
believes that his body is himself; the Sage knows only the Real Self as the Self.

460:  Since the Primal Guru Himself taught this beginningless Self only by Silence, who is there
that can  teach that Self by speech?

461:  Even though the Truth of the Self has been stated in many ways, it remains untold, because
it can be known only by actual Experience.  That Experiential Awareness of the Self is prevented by
the mind, due to the firmly established conviction, 'I am the body', for the aspirant to Deliverance.

462:  By listening in this way alone, those minds which have been purified from worldly
attachments, at once get firmly established in the Natural State, as the Real Self.  But others
need to go through some excellent process for the extinction of the ego sense.

463:  'One should seek the Self, who is Pure and free from sorrow within the Heart, by Resolve
to know Him, and thereby aim at Peace', -- so the ancient Revelation, and the Guru, describe the
Direct Path for the Experience of the Truth of the Real Self.

464:  The 'Resolve to Know', mentioned here, is the intention to win Experience of one's own Self;
only by such intention can the aspirant turn his mind inwards in this Quest of one's own Self.

The Brahmins well-versed in the Vedas, of Tirunalloor
Rich in beautiful and fragrant fields, duly received
The godly child auspiciously and in uproarious joy;
The lord of Sirapuram riding the pearly palanquin
Of golden luster in great splendor, reached the town.

In love he prostrated at the golden feet of the Lord
Whose hand displays a fawn and who presides over
The everlasting shrine, and rose up; he adorned
The Lord with a garland of musical Tamizh,
And fared forth to Siva's shrine at Celoor
And Paalaitthurai where he adored Him,
And then traveled onward.

He entered the hallowed temple of the Lord

Of excelling words the very Vedas and thus hailed
In loving devotion the Lord whose waist is

While we are simply sitting without any work, we get bored. But we are not bored when you
simply sleep, where there is also no work!  We like sometimes, even sleeping for 10 hours
or even more.  Why are we not bored about sleep?  Doing nothing, no entertainment, nothing
to talk, nothing to think, but still we like sleep.  So even this boredom is a mysterious phenomenon.

However, this shows our innate divinity.  Somewhere in the deep level of our personality lies
the knowledge, that we are beyond time and space and WE LOVE TO BE BEYOND TIME AND SPACE.
Only when we are limited by time, we get frustrated and we want somehow to consume the time.
That is why we get bored.  We do not know the technique of eating time-space
stuff and be finished with it.  We do it regularly in sleep. And we are not conscious of time and
space in sleep.

So,if we could swallow time and space, the name and form, the very universe, it will be the most
reliishing food. Never we shall be hungry again.  All other foods will only satisfy us temporarily.
But people who were in Sahaja Samadhi like Bhagavan Ramana, were ever satisfied.  Time and
Space were not for them.

The Vedas say that the Brahma Jnani has consumed the time and space like a pickle with his food!

A short obituary in Saranagati July-Sept. issue:

Graham Boyd:  1949-2016:

Born in Leeds on 13th July 1949, Graham came to the Ashram in the mid-1990s and began work
on archival photo negatives. Self-trained in sound and electrical engineering, Graham was instrumental
in introducing computers to Ashram and he designed the Ashram's first two websites way back when
website-designing was still quite new. In his youth while working odd jobs, Graham struggled to find
inner peace amidst the entanglements of modern life. But in the early 1980s when he came across
Mouni Sadhu?s In Days of Great Peace, his life 'changed overnight' and he began to call himself a
devotee of Bhagavan Sri Ramana. Graham was untiring in his service to the Ashram and among his many projects were recording the Ashram Tamizh Parayanam, digitizing English publications, filming and
editing the biography on Bhagavan's life in the documentary entitled Eternal Light and other video
project on Arunachala Giripradakshina. His contribution in establishing the Archives was invaluable.
It was Graham who initiated the restoration of archival photographs of Sri Bhagavan that devotees
the world over enjoy today. Ever a friend of the poor, he quietly helped the needy.

Diagnosed with bone cancer in November 2015 and having undergone treatment in Chennai,
Graham was blessed to be able to live out his final days in Tiruvannamalai where he merged at
the feet of Arunachala on 16th June 2016 in the presence of friends and his daughter, Candice
Faqir of Scarborough.

Graham Boyd:

A short obituary has appeared in Saranagati issue of July 2016.

I find no reference in Mountain Path, July-Sept. issue, perhaps, the edition was printed much before
Graham's merger with Bhagavan's Feet.
