Such were the words of the tribal bards, Jibril, Nuratin and Magrupi.  They also warned us that this is the most perfect rose, life, lasts but a single instant in the history of the whole world.  Then it withers and fades away.  There was no time to seek out an absolute knowledge:  we had to see life as 'the lilting melody of an old village song',
sweet and mournful, full of bitterness and sorrow because of 'the pain of the Gypsies',
but also tender, compassionate, bearing witness to an incurable love of the beauty of the world. And for them nothing was easier to drink in this beauty, as if it were a well fortified red wine that intoxicated man which he paused, lingered over it, permitted it to instruct and solace him. Beauty was given to us in the butterfly with sun golden wings, the tiny song bird that dipped its beak into the water of a cool, sweet fountain, the swaying form of a maiden with a face of milk and honey, and the wonderment of a child seeing green grass, tall trees and distant stars for the first time.  Everything was an Aya, a symbol or portent of the mysterious force that created the universe. And everything was meant to instruct us, to make us see the whole world as if it had come into existence only an instantg ago, and was drenched in the sanctity and grandeur of the Garden of Eden.

Chapter 35:

1. Ribhu:  Listen, O Nidagha, to what I say. This is the secret and the bestower of instant liberation to men.  All of this is the Self, nothing else.  I am the untroubled supreme Self.

2.  I am indeed the supreme Brahman, the embodiment of Being Awareness Bliss.
I am.  I am great. I am Siva. I am the highest.

3.  The supreme Brahman is not seen.  It is not of a different nature.  All is indeed
non existent, indeed, non existent. I am just Brahman alone.

4. I am the peaceful and supreme Brahman, ever eternally blemish-less. All is indeed non existent, indeed, non existent.  I am just Brahman alone.

5. I am free from all thoughts and devoid of all joys.  I am the embodiment of time,
action, the world, duality, the seer and seeing.

6.  I am bliss, ever happy, alone and the beloved of the world. I am of uniform nature. I am eternal, the past, the future, the unborn and the victorious.

7.  I am just Consciousness and ever liberated.  The individual and bondage do not exist.  Listening, the six of characteristics and a world like this do not exist.

8. I am devoid of the mind and the world.  The world is ever Consciousness. Mind alone is amiable to body.  Non inquiry is the great foe.

9.  Non  inquiry is the sorrow of the world. Non inquiry is the great fear.  I am satisfied immediately and always, the all perfect, the supreme and grand.

10.  I am eternally pure. I am enlightened. I am the space of consciousness and sentience. All of this is the Self, verily, nothing else.  I am the supreme Self, unbroken.

31.  Should there be the goblin of non self, tether it fast by the incantation of the Self.
Brahman is full of perpetual joy and is ever by itself alone.

32.  Thus Brahman has been established by way of sixty four examples.  That man who hears this regularly is emancipated.  There is no doubt of this.

33.  He is ever the accomplished one. There is no discussion about this.

34.  O Maheswara, Thy lotus feet are unreachable to mind and speech, without form and devoid of scent, ever abiding in the heart cavern, ever bestowing bliss to the wise, enlightening, and radiating luster all around.

Thus concludes Chapter 34 entitled 'Topic of attaining Brahman through examples' in
the sixth amsa called Sankara of Sri Siva Rahasyam.

concluded.

'Love the painting, love the poetry and song of religion, love its vast possessions and its sacred rites.  But also love the flowering orchard, the golden sun and the still pond where a distant star is sometimes reflected.  And know that we will never be able to explain anything, no matter how many wells of knowledge we drink from. Know that man himself, and the Reality all around him and within him, is deeper, vaster, richer than any of the theories yet devised  to explain it all away.  Know that the grand venture of man is only beginning and that we have the astounding privilege of partaking of it this very moment, here and now, before the hour and the day fade away forever. Know that we were meant to savor this fleeting life, consider it a thing of exquisite beauty, adorn and embellish it as much as we can...'
