Verse  3:

Having worn the white crescent moon whose deficiency is never filled up.
You practice dancing desiring it along with songs set to measure of time by drums, which are played on a high pitch, when the cool and golden colored matted locks  hangs low. You rejoiced [for having] as your temple, the temple where Vēdas are chanted always, in Nallūr surrounded by fields and cool water with dams across it.

Verse  2:

Wearing the crescent moon and the cool water which has increasing waves,
you have the principle of holding in your palm a white battle-axe which has the nature of killing, and fire you burnt the three cities with the hot arrow which was flourishing in the bow. You rejoiced in dwelling in the temple which has the appearance of a hill as the temple appropriate to you [This temple is described as the temple comparable to Kailash which is white in color like silver;] [The name of the goddess in Giri Sundari].

Tiru Nallur:

Verse 1:

You have a holy body in which a lady stays. When the glittering matted locks is hanging low, you are practicing dance singing the four Vēdas in which there are melody-types. In Tiru Nallūr which is surrounded by fields and verdant gardens of great strength, you are rejoicing in dwelling in the temple which is desired by the people of this world.

Arunachala Siva.

51.  The discussion on existence, the discussion relating to non existence, the self of the form of the fifty letters, the self of sixty four arts -

52.  all are Brahman.  There is no doubt of this.  I am that Brahman.  There is no uncertainty about this.  Brahman alone am I, the serene self.  Brahman alone am I, the inexhaustible consciousness.

53.  I am removed from the scholarship of the scriptures; aloof to the wisdom of the Vedas.  All that is uttered is the supreme Brahman.  There cannot be an iota of doubt about this.

54. Brahman indeed am I. There is no doubt of this.  That Brahman am I. There is no uncertainty about this. Brahman alone am I, the serene self. Brahman indeed am I,
the  non diminishing awareness.

55. Such is Brahman which is just 'That'. Because of that, this becomes adorable to you.  'All is Brahman.  There is no doubt about this' -  the mortal who always realizes thus, who hears this regularly, becomes verily consciousness and blemish free.

56.  The multifarious transformations of the world, though parts of one whole such as the limbs of the body, can cause disturbance by generating endless doubts.  Those who do not soil their hearts by transcending this delusion attain liberation from body by the gracious glance of Siva.

Thus concludes chapter 30 entitled 'The topic of the demonstration of the unitary nature of Brahman' in the sixth amsa called Sankara of Sri Siva Rahasyam.

concluded.

There is a well known quote from Albert Einstein that say it best:

'The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious.  It is the source of all true art and science.  He to whom the emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand wrapped in awe, is as good as dead, - his eyes are closed.  The insight into the mystery of life, coupled though it be with fear, has also given rise to religion.  To know that what is impenetrable to us really exists, manifesting itself as the highest wisdom and the most radiant beauty, which our dull faculties can comprehend only in their in their most primitive forms -- this knowledge, this feeling is at the center of true religiousness.  (Einstein, Living Philosophies).

We are reminded of some photographs taken of Bhagavan on sacred Arunachala where He gazes up at the Hill in stunned awe.  The 108 verses of Aksharamanamalai
is a way of inscribing that feeling of wonderment in our hearts. It makes sense of the swirl of emotions we experience in Arunachala's divine presence when it casts off the
cloak of stone and reveals its majesty.

If ever we experience for a second that feeling of oneness it remains indelibly imprinted on our minds. It is always a beginning for there can be no possibility of accumulation and complacent satisfaction.  Bhagavan's grace is not a material we gather like some possession and hoard; it is a living presence.  Each day, each moment we dedicate our relationship with Bhagavan is a renewal of creative identification with His form and words.  Each day is a new creation and with it we are brought back each time to the present and the right place by a gentle and sometimes, if needed, sharp jerk on the rope of remembrance to sustain ourselves. Right thoughts, right emotions are vital if we are to successfully follow Bhagavan's instructions.  (Cf.  Thammapada, Trans. Sangharakshita. Ch.  1, Verses 1 & 2):
