Dear Candice,

I was travelling in India and was not aware of the sad news until now. I pray to Bhagavan to give you strength. Sri Grahamji has done a wonderful service through this forum, among many other services. As Bhagavan's devotees spread around the world, we are thankful this forum has brought us all together. I am sure Sri Grahamji is at peace now, merged with Arunachala.

Please let us know if you need any help with the forum.

with love and prayers,

Dear Vinodji,

I have noticed the same in the last few days. It does not work in either chrome or internet explorer. It is disappointing to not be able to see the image of our beloved Arunachala live.

Dear Anilji,

I am glad to hear you are okay. It is sad to see all the destruction in Nepal. I pray to Bhagavan for all the people affected by this earthquake.

Grahamji, I took a quick look at the forum on my cell phone. I did not come across any problems. Find my laptop much more comfortable but it is good to have mobile access.
Thank you, latha

Hello ManojRamaji,

I just heard from the couple who run the Elgin Ramana Center about the upcoming Bhagavan Jayanti celebration and satsang.

We will be celebrating the135th Jayanti of Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharishi in Elgin on Saturday, December 27th at 10:00 am, with a lunch to follow. For the early comers, we will have the morning Vedas at 8:45 am.

They would like to invite you to the celebration and have offered for you to stay overnight in the Ashram because of the long drive from Peoria to Elgin.

If anyone else want to join us for the celebration please contact me or use the Ramanashramam web site to get the contact info for the Elgin center.

Dear Friends,

I came across this beautiful letter in an old issue of Mountain Path and have been meaning to share with you all. I don't know if it is written by the same person but this letter is by Swami Shantananda Puri and is from the Mountain Path 2005 Oct Issue. I am amazed by the timing, I came across this message in the past week and have been thinking about it.

Have any of you met Swami Shantananda? Yes, yes, he is the Swamiji, with the child-like, gleeful smile on his face, bursting with joy. He is often seen at Sri Ramanashramam. Swamiji is an ardent devotee of our Bhagavan Ramana. Talking to Swamiji, is like talking to an innocent child, simple and open. On Bhagavan?s Jayanthi day in 2004 (Jan. 8th 2004), a family with two children approached Swami Shantananda for his blessings. The Swamiji was
residing at Sri Ramanashramam in the cottage assigned to him. He was at that point of time in mouna i.e. in silence. The family requested Swamiji
to give instructions to the kids on how to meditate. Since the Swamiji was in mouna, he wrote down a very beautiful, simple message. This letter
is a treasure, it is from God?s child to all children between 0 -99 years. This heart-felt message was written very spontaneously, and all present felt the

Dear Children,
OM. In life as you grow, you have to meet problems. Even as children,  problems in school, problems in house, health problems. So in all
these problems, there is one helper sitting inside our heart. He is very kind, all powerful. He will help if you call him. How to call? There
is a code word -? daily sit down for 15 minutes and shut your eyes. By imagination, imagine that you are seeing in the right side of the
body next to the HEART which is on the left. Then you just think continuously ?Who Am I?? ?Who Am I??. The one who is sitting
inside the Heart is called GOD. Also, called the SELF. But His petname is ?I?. If you do it daily, your intelligence, memory, beauty,
creative capacity ? all will grow ? and one day you will become great. Do not repeat ?Who Am I? but go on feeling ? focus your
attention. It looks difficult. Do it for 6 months ? so easy! It will help you at all times.
Blessings of Bhagawan. HARI OM.
What is HARI OM? Short form for ?Hurry Home? ? Wish you a nice journey! (pointing to the heart, meaning the inward journey)

Dear Friends,

I recently went to a satsang in Elgin, IL which is around 40 miles from Chicago. The center is listed in the Ramanashramam website. The place is not close to me but it was wonderful to meet other Bhagavan's devotees. It is in the home of Jean-Luc and Rita. They have done a wonderful job with the pictures(Bhagavan's and Arunachala's) and the atmosphere is very calming. They are starting the center now and welcome other devotees to join them for the satsangs.

Dr Sundaramji,

Unfortunately I was not able to listen to any of his latest discourses completely - it was too late for me. Are you aware of the old talks by Sri Nochurji on Ulladu Narpadu in the Ashram website? I am listening from the earliest talks and find them very useful. Here is the link

I have been practicing yoga for a few years now with the guidance of an American in a gym in US! I have a few yoga books by  Sri Iyengar and others but find my teacher to be very useful. He corrects my mistakes and gives pointers to progress. It amazes me to hear him talk about not doing yoga with an ego but to go within. There are lot of resources on the web but finding a good teacher is the best way to learn yoga.

Thank you Sri Balaji,

I am feeling so blessed to sit at 11 pm at night in Chicago watching and listening to Sri Nochurji discourse on Ulladu Narpadu at Ramanashramam. I have been listening to his old talks from the Ashram website but it is wonderful to listen to it live!

Cautionary advice / Re: The corruption of Satsanga

Om Hridayamji,

There is a Chinmaya center in Portland and many other cities in the US. Most centers have similar formats with Bala vihar for children and study groups for adults. It is worth checking out if there is a center close to you :)
