Thank you. Another example would be Brahman is spelt and translated brammam, etc.. in tamil text. Like in Anma Bodham, Correct?

Aum Namah Shivaya.

Namah shivaya,

Thanks for the reply. So when n replaces t, it is spelt Anma, is it also pronounced Anma? Like in the Tamil ribhu gitai mp3 downloads from the ashram site, Chandra murali says Anma throughout for the word atma, is it the same reason. N replaces t, and it is written and pronounced Anma? Your answer is very much appreciated.

Namah Shivaya,

A quick question. I see the term Anma or attuma used in place of Atma in some of the Tamil translation text. Is this just local dialect, or the way Atma is pronounced, I am assuming Anma/attuma is just Atma in tamil.

Namah Shivaya.

Namah shivaya,

Thanks for your thoughtful reply. I didnt mean the books, sorry forthe confusion. There is a tamil rendering of the gita that you can download from the ashram site, with the link i provided above, and i was wondering if the audio chanting was of the original tamil version which ramana maharshi used to recomend.

Namah shivaya, kartik

Namah Shivaya,

It is very good quality and soothing.

So, then to followup on my original question:

Is this the chanting of the original Tamil rendering by Sri Ulaganatha Swami  that Ramana Maharshi used to talk so highly about?

Namah Shivaya,

I found a very good quality chanting of the Ribhu gita in tamil on http://www.sriramanamaharshi.org/ribhugita.html, which I am sure all of you brothers and sisters are familar with. Is this the chanting of the original Tamil rendering by Sri Ulaganatha Swami  that Ramana Maharshi used to talk so highly about?

Namah Shivaya,

Thanks for the good discussion. As it is said, it is not just about merely reading a scripture or spiritual truth, its about realizing them in the depths of your heart, and embodying and being fully established in them in the core of our being through deep meditation.

By the divine grace of the One Atman, may Anandam shine in and through us all.

Namah Shivaya.

I am about to start a deeper study of the Ribhu Gita, and was wondering your opinion on the translation titled:

The Song of Ribhu: Translated from the Original Tamil Version of the Ribhu Gita By H. Ramamoorthy and Nome

Namah Shivaya.
