Title: How can I forget u?
Post by: Vinod on January 08, 2014, 03:11:58 AM
Dear All,

From many days I have been busy with personal things and was also in the race for career growth and eventually I have showed less interest or dedication towards our Arunachala however I always utter his name spontaneously depending upon the situation, so this was also making me feel guilty that, what is happening to me? and why I am so busy with this activities instead dedicating some time to Arunachala or to the self? I was also afraid that will I gradually loose the love towards him?

Today I woke up very early and started watching few videos in youtube about Arunachala. I watched a 1.1/2 hr video in telugu by             Sri Chaganti & it is so beautifully explained with some past stories This has refreshed my old memories & lost love, One can still watch the video who cannot understand Telugu.

The best thing what I liked about it is, always do pradakshina being lost in almighty & more importantly without any wish coz it depends upon him whether to fulfill the desire or not.

Amazing explanation with good video...

The other thing I was overwhelmed about it is...

If we are happy with what ever we have and thank Arunachala for giving it, he will be very impressed with us however if we are unhappy with things we have & wish for even more, that is when we are being selfish.

Dear Vinod,

I also felt like You did, many times. Life becomes so overpowering sometimes, and we become too immersed in all that. But that remembrance of our Guru, our God,bring us back always. I also felt guilt in same way, some longing, like there is some big gap, strange missing... I believe that is good, and that remembrance with time becomes more often,so when we are very busy, even then thought of our Guru and self attention are there, not letting thoughts to seduce us like always. I think that is natural way of progress,of growth and learning, then letting go.

And it is true, gratefulness is very important. For everything God gave us,absolutely everything. Things, but most important, happiness, sadness, pain, everything.

Thank You for beautiful video!

With love and prayers,

Dear Jewell,

Great to know someone who has the similar feelings coz at times it raises a so many questions that, what is going wrong with us? Are we going away from the path which we have chosen? Many illusions start to creep in....

May be we are the chosen ones, who has come to know about Arunachala.... thats the reason even if we try to forget we cant and no matter how much involved we are in him, still we feel insatiable

Dear Vinod,

Yes,so true. I sometimes become overwhelmed with so many feelings that it is absolutely impossible to know what is what, etc. Am i am doing right thing, what is right and what is wrong... Then thoughts come i am not the doer, all this is just traffic which i only need to observe and let it be,and leave aside all thoughts and feelings, mind at all. It is indeed so delusional. But,i feel, only knowing that,is enough to make its hold not so strong. And i feel, what ever we do,the thought of Him must be there, and complete attention and our presence in anything we do. To be sober, and on the ground,so to say. Always in the now. And that comes with time and constant coming back to Him.

I always remember Maharaj and His words that with Guru by our side,we can never be lost. Intact, our own Self is our Greatest guide. So You are right,we could never forget our Father. He is everything, God, Reality.
So tricky is this path. We must learn not to listen something we listened so long, mind.
But our Guru is there, here in our hearts, and with Him,we are safe.

With love and prayers,
