Title: Arunachaleswar in shiva temple.
Post by: ramanaduli on September 14, 2012, 10:22:26 PM
Dear sir,

In some  old shiva temples, they did Pradhishta of 108 small  shiva lingams in side the prakaram. In some places along with small shiva lingam one huge shiva lingam is there which is called Arunachaleswar. Opposite of this Arunachaleswar Vishnu and Bhrama idol is kep on the koshtam wall.
I think it tells the story of Shiva when he took the fire pillar in front of Vishnu and Brahma.
