Dear sirs,

Is Athma puja greater than any other puja?

Atma Puja is worship of the formless Atma.  This is the most sublime but the most difficult.  Bhagavan Ramana Himself recommended
pujas with form since He knew that it might be difficult for sadhakas
to do Atma Puja straightaway.  He said that Self Abidance is the
Atma puja.  This comes from Vicharam, which can be done side by side with puja with forms.  Sri Sankara himself has said that one
can do mano-puja to Siva in his Siva Manasa Puja.  All aspects of worships, like bathing, clothing Siva, ornamenting, naivedyam all
are done in mental contemplation.

Arunachala Siva.
