Title: Ramana Maharshi answers to the question If all renounce will there be a world
Post by: ramana_maharshi on June 16, 2010, 01:19:57 PM
D. Devotee
M. Ramana Maharshi

D.: Is there reincarnation?

M.: Reincarnation can be if you are incarnate now. Even now you are not born.

To another question:

M.: The ego is the root of all diseases. Give it up.There will be no disease.

D.: If all renounce will there be a practical world? Who will plough? Who will harvest?

M.:Realise first and then see.The help through Realisation transcends all the help through words, thoughts and deeds, etc. If you understand your own reality then that of the rishis and masters will be clear to you. There is only one master and that is the Self.

Yes.  A Brahma Jnani is the most helpful person in the world.  People,
particularly during Bhagavan's time, were all talking about freedom
movement and hard struggle like imprisonment etc., To some of them
it appeared that Bhagavan Ramana was wasting His time.  Very
few devotees (like Swami Suddananda Bharati, who was also a freedom fighter and was running a magazine for the purpose, till
he came to Bhagavan) had realized that Bhagavan's Sakti within is also helping the country, though not discernible outside.  Kavyakanta Ganapati who was also Congressman and also a Hindu exponent, also understood Bhagavan Ramana's greatness, His silence, which was also a powerful force for helping the nation.
