Post by: Subramanian.R on December 18, 2008, 09:44:20 AM
The third song of Tiruvembavai reads as under:

This is also a conversation between girls.

O the girl with teeth as white pearls!  Everyday, you used to get up
earlier than us and speak sweet words like:  He is my Lord, He is
Bliss. He is in the form of nectar.  But what happened to you this
morning?  Please wake up and open the door.

The girl sleeping inside then says:  You are all senior devotees. You
are of excellent character.  But the poor me has become a slave to
Him only now.  Please forgive my errors, will they anyway harm you?

The others then reply:  We all know your great love for our Lord.
How can such devotee not sing His glory.  We deserve your delay.
Please come.

Arunachala Siva.
